Έρχεται σύντομα update σε Lollipop για Motorola συσκευές του 2013/2014
Ο Luciano Carvalho μηχανικός λογισμικού της Motorola, ανακοίνωσε σήμερα με post στο G+ λογαριασμό του πως η αναβάθμιση στην Android Lollipop έκδοση για πολλές συσκευές της Motorola έρχεται πολύ σύντομα.
Η αναβάθμιση αυτή αφορά συσκευές του 2013 και 2014. Όντως πριν από μερικές μέρες είδαμε μερικές συσκευές να ενημερώνονται με τη μορφή soak test, όπως επιβεβαιώνεται και από την ανάρτηση του Luciano Carvalho.
Updates of this nature take time. It’s no secret that when 5.0 launched it still had bugs. And, when we update our products, we end up finding more bugs that need to be fixed. There are a lot of reasons for what that happen, but, basically, each phone has a unique set of components and a way they interact. When Google creates a new release, they don’t validate it for all the possible combinations there are, and they won’t fix anything that’s not reproducible on a Nexus device, that’s our job.
Με λίγα λόγια, γίνονται οι τελευταίες βελτιστοποιήσεις για να γίνει το μαζικό update. Χωρίς να υπάρχει χρονοδιάγραμμα, υπολογίζουμε περίπου δύο εβδομάδες. Επίσης, χρήστες συσκευών πρώτης γενιάς πρέπει να ελέγξουν ότι έχουν την τελευταία έκδοση του Motorola Updates Services από το Play Store. Το Lollipop έρχεται!
