Η Google αποζημίωσε όσους αγόρασαν το ψεύτικο “Virus Shield” app
Πριν από μερικές εβδομάδες μια ψεύτικη εφαρμογή έκανε την εμφάνιση της στο Google Play Store με το όνομα “Virus Shield”, η οποία ισχυριζόταν πως παρείχε προστασία από ιούς ενώ στην πραγματικότητα δεν έκανε τίποτα.
Αφού έγινε γνωστό πως η εν λόγω εφαρμογή δεν ήταν τίποτα παραπάνω από μια απάτη, αφαιρέθηκε άμεσα από το Play Store. Η Google με σκοπό να αποζημιώσει τους χρήστες της, προσφέρει σε όλους αυτούς που αγόρασαν την εφαρμογή, πλήρη αποζημίωση αλλά και ένα κουπόνι αξίας $5 το οποίο μπορούν να χρησιμοποιήσουν για να αγοράσουν οτιδήποτε από το Play Store.
